To create a world where every stroke survivor and their family receive unwavering support, care, and community—transforming them into warriors, not just survivors.
To be a beacon of hope and empowerment for stroke warriors and their families, offering a pathway to triumph over adversity. We provide personalized, comprehensive support in a community that fosters resilience, strength, and unity—rooted in faith, collaboration, and dedicated care.
We are Jdele and Chad. We are Warrior and Caregiver. We are not just survivors—we are builders. We are believers. We are battle-tested voices for those fighting now, and for those who will fight in the future.
This foundation exists because we’ve lived what you may be walking through right now. We have found our Pathway to Triumph, and we believe there is one for everyone.
Whether you're a stroke warrior, a caregiver, a partner, or someone searching for meaning after loss—you belong here.
Because together, we recover.
Together, we rebuild.
And together, we rejoice.
Welcome to Pathways to Triumph.
We’re not waiting for a building to open to begin the work. Right now, we are standing in the gap—meeting urgent needs and creating change in real time:
We’re here because support shouldn’t be out of reach—and because every Warrior deserves more than the bare minimum.
We’re building something bold—a faith-centered stroke recovery center designed for continuous care of the body, mind, and spirit. Our vision includes:
This won’t be just a facility. It will be a place of restoration, connection, and breakthrough—for Warriors and the families who walk beside them.
In December of 2019, Jdele Brignac—wife, mother, gym-goer, and joyful mover—suffered a massive right-brain stroke. It came without warning. One moment she was celebrating the return of her mother—recently home after a years-long journey of recovery—and the next, she was in the ER with back and side pain. Just days later, she was unable to speak or move. Her world had completely changed.
The stroke took her by surprise. It struck her independence and shook her hope—if only for a moment—but it never took her voice. She never stopped trying to talk, even when the words couldn’t always be understood.
What followed was an exhausting, eye-opening recovery: an ICU stay, outpatient therapy, financial strain, emotional trauma, and the painful realization that even the best systems fail people at their most vulnerable.
“It felt like everything was working against me. But I knew I wasn’t done. I didn’t survive to stay silent—I survived to make a way for others.”
Jdele didn’t just push forward—she began to build. A vision started to form. A vision for something better. Something lasting. Something others like her could lean on.
Today, she is the heart of the foundation. Pathways to Triumph is not just her vision—it is her voice, her fight, her faith in motion. A Warrior in every sense of the word—bold, faith-filled, and unshakably committed to helping others turn their trials into triumphs.
Chad M. Brignac had spent decades solving complex problems, leading teams, and casting vision for others. But nothing prepared him for the moment his wife rolled back into the hospital room after what was supposed to be a routine scan.
“Mr. Brignac, we need to let you know…”
Wait—what just happened?
From the very beginning of what they called stroke protocol, to the waiting, to the waivers... from one urgent procedure to another neurological test, through rehab plans and caseworker rejections followed by a heartfelt, “I’m sorry to inform you,”—everything changed.
Chad became more than a husband. He became an advocate, a caregiver, a decision-maker, and a protector. Not because he chose that role, but because the system gave him no other choice.
And yet, through every moment, they encountered people who cared deeply.
“We honor, appreciate, and value the countless medical staff, therapists, caseworkers, and facilities. They showed us compassion and gave their best. This is not about the people. The gaps come from the system—not the hearts trying to work within it.”
If it weren’t for those people—those who dared to walk the line inside a broken system—he doesn’t know where they would’ve turned.
Still, what he saw shook him.
Disjointed care. Families left without direction. Insurance timelines that forced rushed decisions. Survivors and caregivers expected to navigate the entire landscape alone—or at least, left feeling that way.
“I realized this wasn’t just our fight. There were millions of families out there facing the same confusion, the same burnout, the same silence. Jdele was right—we had to build something more.”
Chad’s leadership gives the foundation its structure. His insight, strategy, and unwavering commitment for compassionate leadership is woven into the mission from the ground up.
He’s not just helping create a new model for stroke recovery. He’s helping replace the fragmented systems with something entirely different: a compassionate structure designed to meet the needs of life after stroke—for everyone.
